This new naturist project close to the Maspalomas naturist beach was opened in October 2004. This is the very first and only naturist resort in Gran Canaria. It consists of 28 self-catering bungalows which are perfectly located in a peaceful and relaxing setting close to the famous naturist beach and dunes of Maspalomas. The complex is now dedicated to naturist use, and was extensively refurbished in 2008.
Palm trees and sub-tropical gardens surround the bungalows and there is a beautiful large swimming pool with sunbeds and plenty of space for sunbathing. There is an excellent pool bar/restaurant serving drinks, breakfast, full meals or snacks. There is also a mini-market with a variety of drinks and non-perishable goods. A regular courtesy bus takes you to as near as you can get by road to the naturist beach and also into Playa del Ingles.
This area at the southern tip of Gran Canaria basks in sub-tropical sunshine 12 months of the year with temperatures rarely falling below 21ºC (70ºF) in the winter months and the average during the summer months is 29ºC (85ºF). A number of
metereological studies made have shown that Gran Canaria has the best climate in the world!
The individual bungalows are all self-contained, simply furnished and comprise sitting room/kitchenette, separate bedroom, bathroom and a private sun-terrace. Each bungalow has television with satellite channels, a radio/CD player, safes, air-conditioned bedrooms and direct dial telephones. They will sleep up to a maximum of 3 persons (3rd person using the sofa bed). The kitchen is well equipped with a 2 ring hob, fridge, electric kettle and toaster, crockery, cutlery, glass wear and cooking utensils.
The bar restaurant by the side of the pool is open all day, serving breakfats in the morning, snacks during the day, and evening meals. All are of an excellent standard and there are "specials" on offer each day.
