Since the Castillo de Papagayo resort was begun in the 1970s lots of individuals have contributed towards its development. Now there are several hundred apartments and villas, mostly privately owned, and with a variety of different styles. Many of these are available to let, and the most attractive are let as much as a year in advance. When you book your holiday with Lanzarote Naturally we will be able to tell you which properties are available at the time you have chosen to go, and you can then use this guide to help you choose. Or if your time is your own you could choose a property and arrange to go whenever it is free!

This section of the site is in the process of construction. There are several gaps, and the individual property pages mostly still need to be added.

	*Individual Apartments* An individual apartment is often the most economical and easiest to book. There is quite a choice of one and two bed roomed apartments. All have sun terraces or balconies.
	Apartment Complexes Other apartments are in small complexes with swimming pools. Here you will have more contact with other naturists living in the same complex and usually the owner or agent lives on the site.
	The Oböna Complex Oböna Reisen, the big German naturist travel agency, owns a considerable number of properties at Castillo de Papagayo. They are holiday lets rather than private homes but have very adequate furnishing and equipment, although no televisions. The advantage is that if you stay in any of their apartments all their facilities are available to you. These include two open-air swimming pools, sauna, games room and changing room.
	*Individual houses* These are the most sought after prop-erties in the resort. Most are occupied by their owners for a portion of the year, and let out when they do not require them. Usually you have to book early to get one of these beautifully designed and equipped properties.
	*Very large houses* On rising ground behind the resort there are three very large and beautiful houses each with three or more bed rooms and their own swimming pools. These would be ideals for small groups holidaying together, although they can also be let out to just one couple.
