Accommodation is in one of only seven traditional style stone cottages. Studio, one or two bedroomed, they all have shaded patio area with BBQ, table and chairs and spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. There is also an area specifically for camping.

Local Area
A Mediterranean island and part of France, Corsica is well worth exploring. Situated 160km (99miles) off the southern coast of France, but closer to Italy, it combines elements of both. You will see the Corsu language on road signs. There are mountains, rugged cliffs and picturesque villages. Driving up steep climbs and around sharp hairpin bends through the jagged mountains can be exhilarating. They are covered in maquis – a mix of harsh and resilient bushes.
15 minutes drive from U Furu is the seaside town of Porto Vecchio with its historic old town, modern marina, bars and restaurants and shopping.
30 minutes away is Bonifacio, the birthplace of Napoleon and a town with much history and spectacular sea views across to Sardinia.
