A huge facility in South West Germany, with a waterpark that claims to be Europe’s largest. The complex includes the ‘Sauna Paradise’ which is reserved for nude use. The area is covered by a large glass dome which can be fully opened in good weather. It includes a wellness, massage and beauty treatment centre.

Stay on site at the up-market Victoria Hotel or more basic Victoria Guesthouse. Alternatively, choose from local accommodation or stay in the City of Munich an hour’s train journey away. Therme Erding is also only 20 minutes from Munich airport.

Therme Erding has 26 differently themed saunas and a variety of spring water swimming pools, hot tubs, steam rooms and rest areas. There are inside and outside areas – including a sand ‘beach’ with palm trees and loungers. Food and drink can be purchased.

Your entry ticket allows access to the other areas – though swimsuits must be worn.

The Victoria hotel has a gym.

Local Area

Erding town is a short all away and has a pretty square and shops to browse.

There is plenty to do and see in Munich, the capital of Bavaria, from the landmark buildings in Marienplatz to the BMW museum, art galleries, other museums, dining opportunities and shopping.
